What are the advantages of renting a villa versus a staying in a hotel?

How do I secure a reservation to rent a villa?
In order to secure your reservation a 50% deposit is needed. The remaining balance must be paid 30 days prior to arrival depending on individual owner’s preferences and season. Payment may be made via wire transfer payable to Caribbean Paradise Homes Inc.

How far in advance do I need to book the villa?
The most popular villas tend to get booked several months in advance. If you are sure you want a particular villa for a particular time period, secure a reservation deposit on it. First come, first served.

What is the cost of renting a villa?
We offer villas for every budget. Our options start from Standard Villas for US$ 400/night to Luxury Villas for US$ 9,000/night.

What are the forms of payment I can use?

Wire Transfer.

Can I reserve the same villa for the same time next year if I like it?

If you would like to reserve the same villa for the same time next year, we strongly encourages you to rebook that villa as soon as you return. The most popular villas get rented quickly. Your Casa de Campo Rentals representative will call you upon your return to assist you in rebooking your villa, or to help you find another personalized villa vacation experience in Casa de Campo.

Are there any other extra cost to rent a villa?

Yes, each guest must register with Casa de Campo Resort. In order to register guest must pay a registration fee of:

• US$ 20 per adult/per night (adults = all persons over the age of 12)

• US$ 10 per child/per night (children = age 4 years to 12 years)

• FREE – children under the age of 4 years.

Casa de Campo Resort registration fee is subject to change.

What does the resort registration fee include?

Each person registered will receive an ID card, which will detail the dates of their stay – after which the card will no longer be valid or accepted. This ID card will grant the individual named on the card access to the resort, as well as the various facilities, including:

• Access to Equestrian Center

• Access to Shooting Center

• Access to Tennis Courts

• Access to Casa de Campo Spa

• Access to golf courses and advance tee times reservations at applicable rates

• Use of Fitness Center at villa owner’s preferential rates

• Use of towels and chaise lounges at the pool in the main hotel area and Minitas Beach

• Use of courtesy internal hotel guest transportation

• Access to discounts, special offers and promotions for private rental guests in hotel’s restaurants, sports facilities and activities.

• Access to the services of Central Romana Medical Center

What if the registration fee is not paid?

If the resort registration fee is not paid, the unregistered guests will not be able to gain access to Casa de Campo. Security procedures at the Casa de Campo entrance have recently changed and to gain access you must either use your automatic pass, show your Casa de Campo ID or show any other form of ID, from which the security staff will be able to check your access authorization from the new computer database they have at the entrance checkpoints. Visitors trying to use facilities without the appropriate identification will be turned away.

Would I be staying in the exact villa we book on your website?
Yes. All of our listed properties have their own pictures taken by Casa de Campo Rentals representative.

Can a villa be booked for one night only?
No, our villas have a minimum stay requirement of three (3) nights year-round. From December 19th to January 2nd there will be a seven (7) to ten (10) nights minimum stay.

Are there weekly rates available?
No, all our rates are pro-rated on a nightly basis.

Do you offer discounted weekly rates?
Weekly discounts are at the discretion of the property owner.

Does each villa have a maximum number of people that can stay?
Yes, the maximum occupancy of a villa rental is two people per bedroom. Any extras should be declared at the moment of the reservation and will be only accepted at the owner´s discretion.

Is there security a deposit to be paid?
Yes, we require a valid credit card number as a security deposit for any damages that might be caused to the property and its contents during your stay.

How do I get the key to the villa?

You will either be met at the airport or at the villa by a by Casa de Campo Rentals representative who will give you your keys to the villa as well as a house tour to familiarize you with all aspects of the villa.

Should I lock the villa when I’m not there?

Yes, like anywhere else in the world, crime exists everywhere. During your vacation in one of our villas we ask our guests to close and lock all doors and windows of your villa every time you go out. If your villa has a safe always use it. Keep in mind that your are responsible for the villa and it’s contents during your rental period.

Can you provide us with references from previous rental clients?
Yes. Just ask one of our villa consultants and we can put you in touch with a client who has rented with us before.

Should I buy Travel Insurance?

YES! You've invested money, time and aspirations into your upcoming vacation, and Travel Insurance serves to protect that investment from cancellation, delay, loss, theft or disruption due to medical emergencies (on vacation or back at home).

What is the check-in time and where it is done?
In must villas the check out time is at 1:00 P.M. Please inquiry about check in policies for specific properties.

What is the check-out time and where it is done?
In must villas the check out time is at 3:00 P.M. and is done where you were registered. Please inquiry about check out policies for specific properties.

Could I check-in or check-out at an earlier time?

All of our guests must vacate their villas no later than the published check in/out time describe above. If you would like to check in/out time at a earlier/later time, please contact us the day before your arrival/departure.

Do you have someone that we can contact for anything that we may need while we are there?
Yes. When you arrive to you villa there will be one of our representatives who will welcome you and give you his or her details.

Will there be any groceries at the villa before arrival?
No, this needs to be requested before your arrival, at least seven (7) days prior. This service is available at extra cost (10% gratuity).

Can we hire a cook while we are at our villa?
Yes. You have the option of adding cook services at an extra cost where none are included.

Do you offer Internet access on your properties?
Most of our villas offer Internet access. Information about this will be available at the property page.

Do you allow weddings or small parties in your the villas?

Very few of our property owners permit weddings or small parties for insurance and other reasons. Please let us know if interested before you book with us. Keep in mind that most of our villas are located in residential areas and most residents go to bed around 10:00 p.m. They will certainly complain to us and to the resort security if they are disturb by loud music up to midnight and beyond.
